LEAD TIMES

All standard products take from 4 to 6 weeks to be designed, cut, manufactured, printed, inspected and all documentation to be compiled.

We aim to ensure that product details displayed on our website are correct and up to date. However, any error in any information on the website will be subject to correction without any liability or obligation on our part.

SPECIFICATION & QUALITY

Products produced by Soft Play Planet have been designed and tested for use in the commercial hire market. All soft play products are produced to conform with ASTM F1918 – 12(2017) standards. Where all inflatable products are produced to conform with BS EN 14960-1:2019 standards. All our product coverings are made from 610gsm flame retardant PVC material. Our foam is all cut from full blocks not pieced together so your safe in the knowledge our foam will not break up and separate while in use over time.

DESIGN VARIATION

All Soft Play Planet products are handmade and as such there will be differences in the way in which they are made. As such, products may often differ when examined closely.

QUOTES & PRICES

All our quotations are valid for a period of 30 days. Any extras and accessories ordered will be charged separately. Unless previously stated all prices quoted are for goods only, delivery charges are added additionally when the invoice is finalised.

We reserve the right to amend quoted prices to take account of any fluctuations in the cost of materials or labour.

PAYMENTS & DEPOSITS

A £200 deposit is payable on all orders unless otherwise stated.

Bespoke orders require a 50% deposit of the full balance. On rare occasions the full balance of the order will be required depending on the level of customisation.

The remaining balance of the order is to be paid and cleared prior to dispatch, unless previously discussed and arranged.

The deposit is not refundable in the event of cancellation.

CANCELLATION

Any orders are not returnable or refundable, any manufacturing defects may be repaired however.

PACKAGING

When goods are packed the extent of packing and/or protection necessary is at our discretion. Any additional packaging material requested by you will be charged additionally to the account. Any additional packaging material is not returnable and non-refundable.

DELIVERY

The quoted delivery date is an estimate only and should not be considered as a guaranteed delivery date.  We endeavour to have the goods delivered to you by the quoted delivery date, however, we will not be liable for any loss of profit which may be caused by reason of late delivery. Please avoid taking bookings until the goods are in your possession.

Occasionally large orders are shipped on multiple consignments, this can subsequently result in multiple delivery dates, please allow for a reasonable period of time for your order to be completed.

All our deliveries are made using a 3rd party courier and as such all deliveries are subject to their own terms and conditions.  There is no specific timeslots available as the courier is a commercial service and deliveries can be any time between the hours of 8am to 6pm. If you are not available to take delivery it is your responsibility to make sure someone is available. Should you wish the courier to leave the items in a safe place, this need to be advised in writing prior to the delivery date.

LOSS OR DAMAGE

We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage occurring as a result of a missed deadline and in paying our invoices you enter a contract and indemnify us of any claims or damages arising as a result.

MAINTENANCE

Whilst our products are of the highest most robust quality, It must be cared for properly. do not use any excessive force. Do not use any bleach or strong cleaning products. Always roll artwork up & do not fold it in order to avoid cracking or spalling over time. Do not sit objects on top of artwork and do not keep it wet for long periods of time.

FAIR USE POLICY

Just like all major retailers, we operate a strict fair usage policy. All manufactured products and warranties are designed to cope with a fair usage policy. This is based on a typical hire of 1 or 2 times per week during peak periods in summer and NOT constant use and abuse from permanently sited locations

WARRANTY & REPAIRS

All our products are under the Soft Play Planet guaranteed warranty. The Soft Play Planet warranty lasts for 18 months from point of purchase on most products.

Warranty covers only manufacturing faults or material faults. It will not cover general wear and tear or cuts and rips in the material. If it does fall within warranty, then we will repair the goods.

If you have purchased the goods second-hand, proof of original purchase and proof subsequent purchase will be required in order to make a claim, provided the goods are still within 18 months old.

In the event that you do need to make a claim on the warranty, please send your claim in writing to the email address listed on our contact us page with photographs of the defect attached. After a preliminary decision is made we will be happy to take delivery of your goods.

HEALTH & SAFETY

You are responsible for ensuring that all Statutory, Government or Local Authority regulations are complied with in relation to the operation of any goods purchased from us.

CUSTOM ORDERS

We are able to manufacture custom artwork to the client’s specifications, however, please note that when customisation is required, we are only able to commission artwork if you agree to obtain permission from the copyright owner of the artworks you intend to use.

COMPLAINTS

In the event that you are unhappy with our services, please contact the office as soon as you can after delivery has been made. Please send the complaint in writing to the email address listed on our contact us page.

Please allow a reasonable time for the complaint to be resolved, any form of discussion or harassment on the internet or social media whilst a complaint is being dealt with in order to curry favour, a faster response or more favourable outcome, will resort in the length of the complaint being drawn out.
